Coaching focuses on the present and the future. In coaching sessions, we do not go back and explore past trauma or wounds. Coaching services assist you in moving forward in a positive direction to achieve your personal or professional goals. Through coaching, we will work together to identify your strengths, develop your skills, build your self-confidence, and create a plan that aligns with your passion and that you find purposeful. Coaching is a great way to continue personal growth and development after counseling.
Counseling focuses on the past - helping clients understand and resolve past emotional issues and trauma to facilitate healing and personal growth. Essentially, coaching is more action-oriented, while counseling is more introspective and focused on the past.
